지난 두 차례의 "믿음의 글" 공모전을 통해 우리는 사순절이라는 거룩한 시간을 함께 걸으며, 각자의 삶 속에서 역사하신 하나님을 나누는 깊은 기쁨을 경험했습니다. 글로 풀어낸 신앙의 고백과 묵상은 개인의 고백을 넘어 공동체의 위로와 소망이 되었고, 함께 읽고 나누며 은혜가 배가되는 귀한 시간이었습니다.
이제 올봄 사순절을 맞아, 한미연회 느헤미야 운동과 한미연회가 발간하는 월간 묵상집 「기쁨의 언덕으로」에 실릴 제3회 "믿음의 글" 공모를 진행합니다. 하나님과의 교제 속에서 깨달은 은혜, 말씀 가운데 비추어진 우리의 삶, 그리고 신앙의 여정을 담은 글은 나눌수록 더 큰 기쁨과 은혜로 이어집니다.
이번 공모전이 또 한 번, 우리의 신앙을 돌아보고 서로를 격려하며 함께 하나님께 더 가까이 나아가는 통로가 되기를 소망합니다. 성별과 나이에 관계없이 누구나 참여하실 수 있으니, 많은 성도 여러분의 적극적인 참여를 부탁드립니다.

Lenten Season 2026
Over the past two Words of Faith writing contests, we have shared a meaningful journey of faith during the Lenten season—reflecting on God’s grace and discovering joy in listening to one another’s testimonies and meditations. These writings, born from personal encounters with God, became sources of hope and encouragement for our faith community, reminding us that grace grows richer when it is shared.
This coming Lent, the Nehemiah Mission Inc., in partnership with the Korean–American Annual Conference of the Global Methodist Church, invites you to participate in the 3rd Words of Faith Writing Contest. Selected submissions will be published in the monthly devotional, To the Pleasant Hill, which serves as a space for testimonies of faith, scripture meditations, and reflections that illuminate our lives in the light of God’s Word.
Our fellowship with God and the ways we encounter Him in our daily lives multiply in joy and grace when shared with others. We hope this year’s contest will once again provide an opportunity to look inward, to listen to God’s voice, and to encourage one another as a community of faith throughout the Lenten season.
The contest is open to all members of Korean Methodist churches, with no restrictions by age or gender. We warmly encourage your prayerful and active participation.
