한미연회 서부 지방 목회가 가족 수련회가 지난 6월 23일부터 26일까지 이성현 목사님께서 시무하시는 로뎀교회의 초청으로 하와이에서 열렸습니다. 이번 목회자 가족 수련회는 로뎀(이성현 목사, 홍신우 목사), 미라클 LA(신병옥 목사), 주반석(강현중 목사), 라스베가스 글로벌(최영완 목사), 생수의 강(김영웅 목사), 새빛사랑(박 유 목사)교회의 목회자 가정이 함께 참여했습니다. 이성현 목사님께서 개회 예배에서 말씀을 전해 주셨고, 이어지는 일정을 통해 지방회 사역들을 논의하고 또한 목회자 가정들의 교제의 시간을 통해 주님 안에서 하나됨을 경험하는 귀한 시간을 나누었습니다. 호스트해 주시는 로뎀교회 성도님들의 귀한 섬김을 통해 참여한 모든 목회자 가정들이 위로와 격려를 얻었고, 무엇보다 이번 가족 수련회의 클라이막스는 로뎀 교회 성도님들과 함께 드렸던 수요 예배였습니다. 그동안 교단 분리 과정 속에서 많은 어려움과 아픔을 겪어 왔던 로뎀교회 성도님들과 함께 한 예배를 통해 성도님들 뿐만 아니라 수련회에 참석한 서부 지방 목회자 가정들까지 하나님께서 큰 위로와 은혜를 부어 주셨습니다. 로뎀 교회 성도님들과 예배하며 서부 지방회 목회가 가정이 함께 특송으로 영광 돌릴 수 있음도 감사한 시간이었습니다. 수요 예배 후 서부 지방회에 속한 목회자 가정이 함께 수련회 동안에 느낀점들을 나눌 때에는 대부분 눈시울을 붉히며 서로에게 얼마나 힘이 되었는지 감사를 표현하며 주님 안에서 하나됨을 경험함으로 은혜 가운데 마무리 할 수 있었습니다.
Korean American Annual Conference, GMC - Western District Pastors' Family Retreat From June 23-26, the Western District Pastors' Family Retreat of the Korean American Annual Conference, GMC was held in Hawaii, graciously hosted by Rodem Church under the leadership of Rev. Sung Hyun Lee. Pastoral families from Rodem Church (Rev. Sung Hyun Lee & Rev. Shin Woo Hong), Miracle LA Church (Rev. Byung Ok Shin), Christ Rock Methodist Church (Rev. Hyun Joong Kang), Las Vegas GMC (Rev. Young Wan Choi), Living Water Church (Rev. Young Woong Kim), and New Light Love Church (Rev. Yoo Park) joined together for this meaningful time of fellowship and renewal. Rev. Lee opened the retreat with a message during the opening worship service. In the days that followed, the pastors and their families were able to reflect on district ministries, deepen their fellowship, and experience the joy of unity in Christ. We are especially thankful for the loving hospitality of the Rodem Church congregation, whose service brought encouragement and comfort to everyone. The highlight of the retreat was the Wednesday worship service, shared with the Rodem Church family. In the midst of the challenges and hardships faced during the denominational transition, this service became a powerful moment of healing and grace-not only for the Rodem Church members but also for the pastors and families who gathered. A special blessing was the opportunity for the Western District pastoral families to offer a song of praise together during the service. As reflections were shared afterward, many were moved to tears, expressing how much strength and encouragement they had received. By God's grace, the retreat concluded with deep gratitude, unity, and renewed hope in Christ. |
